Q&A - TOP MOST ISSUES AND BEST SOLUTIONS FROM TRAVELLERS VIEW
Q WHAT SHOULD YOU NOT MISS
Travelling to sri lanka late November - early December this year. What should we not miss?
A
See what's waiting for you next island getaway. The sunny beaches, scenic mountain ranges, waterfalls, ancient temples, wild elephants, leopards, the historic culture, whales, dolphins and much more. The best winterscape you can imagine. Trust me you'll love it.
Q VISA EXTENSION
Hello. I just arrived in Colombo and would like to extend my tourist visa to 90 days. Couple of questions: Where exactly is the office i need to go to? What do i need to take (passport of course, but anything else?). Are there are good/bad days this week to go (mercantile holidays and whatnot). Thanks so much, CR

Once you are in the country, initially thought, you cannot complete this process online,
Q CURRENCY
Going to Sri Lanka at Xmas and was wondering what currency to use there? Any help is appreciated x
A
Please note that the official currency of Sri Lanka is LKR. However, what I would suggest is that you use your Credit/Debit card as much as possible & avoid carrying big amounts of cash. Also, there are many ATM machines in & around Sri Lanka where you could dispense cash whenever the need arise. Further, there are banks and ATM machines in the airport where you could change any major currency for initial expenses. Hope this helps.
