Am I better off just get US dollars or getting Sri Lanka currency too ??

They use Rupees everywhere.... very few places we went to accepted dollars and they charge extra I'd you want to pay with a card. Just try to get smaller notes if you can
Bring your bank card. If you have travel card is even better because you can take rupees from cash machine anytime. If you bring actual currency you will have to look for money change place like a bank or whatever. Also rates aren't great if you exchange hard currency. Using card, it works on international exchange rate which I found better

Better have some Sri lankan Rupees. You can exchange $ from the banks. Bring whatever hard currency you have. USD, Euro, Pound. No difference.
You probably can’t get rupees anyway but if you do the rate will be poor

Yes you can encash from any ATM of reputed banks, all most all cities has, no need to take cash much, you can do it when needed, big hotels, restaurants and vendors and supermarkets and shops are accepting cards, if need more information please contact me

Yea you can get money in arrival iside atms. There are many atms. When you go arround country , every cities have ATMs
